## Decision
`OPTIONAL_BUNDLES` lists Agent Teams, voice input, reasoning translation, Auto review, the Inspector profile, and Git Worktrees. Every optional bundle declares `icon` and exports `./locale/*.json` with `meta.title` and `meta.description`, so the Official group renders a localized title, description, and image; `verify-default-product-isolation` rejects an optional bundle without them. The Inspector profile owns the package-named bundle patch. The standalone Inspector's `cordis.patch.yml` mounts its local built entry as an explicit repository overlay; [Session Inspector](../feature/2026-09-24-session-inspector.md) owns the inspection behavior and activation choices.
`OPTIONAL_BUNDLES` owns the installation's default-off selections, including maintained optional capabilities and experimental capabilities. Every bundle declares `icon` and exports `./locale/*.json` with `meta.title` and `meta.description`; the Official group displays that metadata, while the experimental package name independently controls the experimental tag. The isolation check validates admission and still rejects experimental dependencies of nonexperimental bundles.
An optional bundle is a runtime dependency of the installation, so its dependency graph is downloaded by every `dsh` install. The list weighs the added installation cost: Auto review reuses the installation's closure, while the Inspector profile adds inspection packages, `serve-static`/`open`/`ws`, and 535 mirrored DevTools resources (about 11.95 MiB uncompressed), without another browser binary. [Reasoning translation](2026-10-05-anonymous-reasoning-translation.md) adds three experimental packages without new third-party runtime dependencies. The Inspector profile appears in the default plugin list but remains disabled until selected. The browser-use and computer-use providers stay explicit compositions: Playwright MCP, Chrome DevTools MCP, and the native Cua Driver runtime binaries add about 85 MB and 21 packages to every install whether or not the bundle is enabled, and a shipped Cua Driver MCP switch would offer a capability whose executable the installation does not carry. Those provider packages keep locale display metadata for their component rows. Two more packages stay out for other reasons: `ptc-runtime-python` replaces the PTC runtime, and `workflow-ptc` rejects a non-TypeScript runtime at load while the Web presets carry `workflow-ptc` rows a bundle patch cannot reach; `browser-use-stagehand-native` requires a native model name and API key at schema validation with no configuration form on the page.
An optional bundle's dependencies are downloaded with every `dsh` installation. [Reasoning translation](2026-10-05-anonymous-reasoning-translation.md) uses three experimental packages without adding third-party runtime dependencies. Admission therefore considers installation cost and whether a switch supplies a usable composition without an additional configuration form. Browser and computer providers remain explicit compositions because they add substantial runtimes or require an external executable. Stagehand requires model credentials; Python PTC replaces a core provider and conflicts with TypeScript workflow consumers. Demonstrative hooks, webhooks, and mods stay outside the list. [Session Inspector](../feature/2026-09-24-session-inspector.md) owns the Inspector's distinct activation behavior.
Bundles add scoped rows with the [profile patch operation](../../../../packages/boot/app-boot/README.md): `preset` names a declaration row, and the ordinary patch operates on its child list. Full Web presets receive the optional model tools; minimal retains its exact platform shell catalog. Search, Ralph, and terminals supply their own isolated services. Search opens one in-memory index on demand per retained preset revision; the Host search policy stays unchanged. Badge skills and title providers act on the Host. Existing Agents retain their preset generation, and later user patch layers retain precedence. Title replacement waits for disposal of the previous provider.

**Mount the registration-only `computer-use` and `browser-use` services in `dsh-base`.** The shared composition would carry rows that only an optional provider bundle needs; a provider bundle can insert the service row from its own patch and dependencies.
**Register preset extensions at runtime.** A separate registration path would need its own ordering, module resolution, generation updates, and inspection behavior. Profile patches keep one effective composition for boot, dumps, validation, and user overrides.
## Consequences
The Official group carries five optional-bundle entries, each tagged experimental by its experimental name. Their runtime dependencies are installed even while the bundles are disabled. A browser-use or computer-use provider still needs its Service Definition and the provider in a profile patch or composition.
Official discovery does not imply experimental status or a different plugin lifecycle. Switching a bundle off keeps its installed files; failed activation retains the existing saved-selection behavior. Scoped rows appear read-only under their bundle, and removal respects modules retained by live preset generations. Individual and combined composition tests cover the supported presets; live switching and recorded Sessions cover activation and model-visible behavior.

# Identify bundle rows by their preset
English | [中文](guide.zh.md)
## Change
The next release adds preset-scoped declarations to `PluginManager.listBundles().rows`. A bundle can declare the same `rowId` in several presets. These rows carry `preset`, optional `composition` state, and `readOnlyReason: 'preset-managed'`; they do not carry an editable root `entryId`.
Clients that key rows only by bundle name and `rowId`, or treat every row as a root plugin switch, must distinguish preset declarations. Existing root rows retain their current identity and controls.
## Migration
1. Include `preset` in row identity, alongside the bundle name and `rowId`. Keep the absent-preset case distinct from every named preset.
2. Render `preset-managed` rows read-only in direct row controls. Use the bundle switch or an explicit scoped profile patch to configure them. Only pass a returned root `entryId` to `setPluginEnabled`.
3. Read preset row state from `composition`, instead of looking up a root Loader entry with the same `rowId`.
4. For YAML edits, use `preset` to address the outer declaration and `id` to address its child:
```yaml
- preset: preset-standard
id: optional-tool-str-replace-editor
disabled: true
```
5. Verify that a bundle contributing to standard, cordis, and ptc shows three distinct rows and that root-row switches continue to work. The [profile patch reference](../../../../packages/boot/app-boot/README.md) describes ordering and validation.

下一个版本在 `PluginManager.listBundles().rows` 中加入预设作用域声明。
```yaml
- preset: preset-standard
id: optional-tool-str-replace-editor
disabled: true
```
[Profile patch 参考](../../../../packages/boot/app-boot/README.zh.md)说明顺序与校验规则。

The separate `description` field is the bundle's raw `package.json.description`; a metadata diagnostic does not block management. `source` gives a profile dependency as a spec `pnpm add` accepts: a git address or URL as recorded without the user information of an http(s) URL (a query string stays as recorded), a `file:` or `link:` path made absolute against the profile or the home directory for `~`, and a registry range, tag, or alias after the package name, as is any spec of a package installed under another name; a bundle the installation supplies has none, even when the profile also depends on it, because the installation's copy is the one that loads. ### Switching one row of a bundle
A row's switch on the bundle's page calls `pluginManager.setPluginEnabled`, which writes the row's `disabled` override into the profile's `cordis.patch.yml`. The tree recomposes at once on a profile with HMR, so the row's host half unmounts or mounts while the rest of the bundle keeps running, and the page follows the client module graph without reloading. Rows use the shared status marker for their Host fiber phase: pending and disabled are idle, loading and unloading are ongoing, active is done, and failed is error. The switch appears only on a bundle that is on; a row without a live entry, or one the Host will not address through the profile patch, is locked with the Host's reason. Scoped preset rows show their preset target beside the declared id and their current composition state; their controls and configuration pages remain read-only. Equal child ids in different presets retain distinct list and navigation identities. A list longer than ten rows gets a filter over localized titles, descriptions, row ids, and module names.

组合包页面上行的开关调用 `pluginManager.setPluginEnabled`,往 profile 的 `cordis.patch.yml` 写入该行的 `disabled` 覆盖。

### Adding a provider

One optional asynchronous provider may be registered through `ctx.sessionTitle.register(provider)`; a second registration throws. The shipped model-backed providers are [first-prompt](../session-title-first-prompt-llm/README.md) and [all-prompts](../../experimental/session-title-all-prompts-llm/README.md), both using the shared [LLM generation policy](../session-title-llm/README.md). A provider starts only after a marked loop-built request's exact route matches the logged `request/header`, and a newer revision supersedes and aborts older work.

A provider starts only after a marked loop-built request's exact route matches the logged `request/header`, and a newer revision supersedes and aborts older work. For unchanged routes, an active marked request starts pending automatic generation without a new header event; accepted human messages may follow the current `step/start`.

You are an AI agent powered by DeepSeek Harness.
You are a coding agent powered by the deepseek-v4-flash model.
`run_code` is the only tool you can call directly — a tool call naming any other tool fails. Reach every tool the SDK declares below from inside the program.
Tokens prefixed with @ are paths the user explicitly referenced. Relative paths resolve from the workspace root; absolute paths identify files or directories on the host. A trailing slash marks a directory: list it when its contents matter. Anything else is a file: use the read tool when its contents are needed, and do not claim to have inspected it before reading. @"..." quotes a path containing spaces.
Check the [exit code: N] marker on every bash result; investigate failures before moving on.
Use the read tool — not shell commands like cat — to inspect text files. Use offset and limit to continue reading large files.
Read an existing file before overwriting it with write (the default fs-observation-policy requires it) and prefer edit for targeted changes.
Read a file before editing it (the default fs-observation-policy requires it), unless you just created or edited it in this session.
Use the glob tool — not shell find — to discover files by path pattern.
Use the grep tool — not shell grep or rg — to search file contents. Use read on a matched file when you need surrounding context.
Track every background job id you start. You are notified in-session when a job finishes — do not busy-poll or sleep on one; keep working on independent steps and do not duplicate a running job's work. Before giving a final answer, collect every still-relevant job with job_output (set wait: true only when you are genuinely blocked on it), and job_kill jobs that stopped mattering.

create_goal may infer goal intent from a direct human request in any language. After session resume or fork, an active goal is disarmed: when a human asks to continue or resume in any wording or language, use update_goal action resume to rearm it. Mark complete only when the objective is actually achieved. Mark blocked only after the same blocking condition persists for at least 3 consecutive goal rounds, and report that concrete condition in blocked_reason; difficulty, uncertainty, or useful remaining work is not blocked.

## Writing code for run_code
`run_code` takes two required arguments: `description`, a short summary of what the program does, and `code` — the body of an async TypeScript function (erasable syntax only — no `enum` or namespaces; type annotations are advisory, the code runs type-stripped). The declarations below are SDK bindings for this program. A declaration does not make its name a directly callable tool; only names supplied as separate tool schemas may be called directly. When no separate `bash` schema is supplied, invoke a declared `bash` binding inside `run_code`:
`run_code({ description: "Show current directory", code: "return await tools.bash({ description: 'Show current directory', command: 'pwd' })" })`
Inside the program:
- Call tools as `await tools.name(args)` — quoted access for exotic names: `tools["my-tool"](args)`. Every call resolves to the tool's typed canonical JSON value. Tool arguments must be lossless JSON.
- A FAILED tool call rejects with `ToolCallError`, whose `toolName` identifies the failed tool and whose `message` is human-readable — `try/catch` it to handle and continue.
- Independent read-only calls MAY overlap under `Promise.all` (safe calls run concurrently; mutating calls run alone, in submission order). Sequence dependent work with `await`.
- Emit results with `return` and/or `console.log(...)`. Only what you print or return is program output. A successful tool result containing an image is attached after the run so you can inspect it on the next step; every other intermediate result stays out of the conversation, so extract just what you need.
Program-only SDK bindings:

Prefer showing the primary results within your final response alongside a brief explanation. Use when an image supports an explanation or comparison. Use [Description](<path/to/image.png>) when referring to an image or listing files. Enclose Markdown file destinations in angle brackets, especially paths containing spaces. Do not call present just to list edited source files, or run commands to check whether a diff view will appear. Use present when a separate file card helps the user open the complete deliverable, including images, Office documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. Each presented file adds a card below the reply, with preview and native-open actions. Avoid repeating results already shown inline unless the separate card adds useful access. Outside commands, configuration expressions, and code blocks, link every mention of an existing file, including repeats and tables, to its full path relative to the working directory or absolute; append #L24 or #L24-L30 to the target for known lines. Use the filename or a clear alias as the label, adding only enough parent directories to distinguish files; keep full paths out of labels. Default to the name alone; when precise locations matter, append :24 or :24–30, with no # or L in the line suffix.

The DeepSeek Harness implementation checkout is at {{sourceRoot}}. The checkout location and current working directory are separate values and may differ; never infer the working directory from this path. Use pwd to determine the current working directory. Use this checkout only to inspect or extend DSH itself.

You are interacting with the user through the DeepSeek Harness Web GUI at {{webUrl}}. When the user refers to "this page", "this GUI", or "this app" without naming another target, they mean this GUI. The browser provides no implicit DOM, route, or screenshot context. The client-plugin HMR receiver is active, but client-plugin changes reload without a refresh only while `pnpm run dev:web` is also running from this same checkout to rebuild their bundles; verify that watcher before promising automatic updates. Every other change — the apps/web shell and plain packages — requires rebuilding the affected Web artifacts and verifying this existing URL after a page refresh. Starting another server does not update this GUI. The apps/web Vite entry builds the shell but is not a standalone application because only dsh web injects window.__DSH_BOOT__. Do not start a replacement server unless the user asks; if one is needed, use a managed background job and verify its exact URL.

Takes two required arguments: `description`, a short summary of what the program does, and `code`, the BODY of an async function (erasable syntax only; top-level `await` and `return` work). Call tools as `await tools.name(args)` per the declarations in the system prompt. Only what you print or return is program output — curate it. Image-bearing subtool results are attached after the run. Each call runs in a fresh Node process. Node APIs are available through await import(...). Relative paths use the supplied working directory; process.env starts empty. Direct filesystem access follows this execution's sandbox policy. The working directory is the Session's current directory. A sandbox escalation approves this complete program for one execution only. Nested tools retain their own policies and approvals. Request wider access only after evidence of a denial. Earlier effects may already have completed: inspect them before explicitly retrying. Programs are never replayed automatically.",
