    $uicide Music Bot v0.7.1 — first release

    Image: gitea.milesward.dev/mward4/musicbot:0.7.1 (also :latest), linux/amd64, built from this tag (6fa3731). No ports — the bot only makes outbound connections. Mount /musicbot for config.txt, serversettings.json and Playlists/.

    • The bot is purnell569/MusicBot 0.7.1, unchanged. JMusicBot (jagrosh → arif-banai → purnell569) with YouTube playback working again: signature cipher decoupled from OAuth, ANDROID client added and the client list reordered, sign-in failures reported usefully, youtube-source pinned past 1.18.2. Upstream measured 5/5 previously-failing tracks playing (was 1/5). The full build — 676 unit and 48 integration tests — was re-run here before this image was built, all passing.
    • Built and served from this Gitea. Base bitnami/minideb:trixie (glibc 2.41), a jlink-trimmed Java 25 runtime, the shaded JAR from the docker Maven profile. OCI labels carry the commit (org.opencontainers.image.revision) and version.
    • Headless first run works. The entrypoint checks the data directory is writable up front (the bot's own error for that case is a misleading "another instance is already running"), and when config.txt is missing runs the bot's generate-config, writes the default file, tells you what to edit, and stops. Upstream's image prompted for a token on a console that does not exist and exited without writing anything.
    • Unraid template at deploy/unraid/musicbot.xml: appdata at /mnt/user/appdata/musicbot, --user 99:100 so a freshly created folder needs no chown, JAVA_OPTS exposed.
    • CI on Gitea Actions runs the Maven build and a Docker build on every push to main.
    • Upstream's tag is preserved as upstream/v0.7.1; this repository's release tags are vX.Y.Z and match pom.xml.

    Unraid: import the template, start the container once, set token and owner in the discord { } block of /mnt/user/appdata/musicbot/config.txt, start again. On the Discord side, enable Message Content Intent under Bot → Privileged Gateway Intents.

    JAR for non-Docker installs: JMusicBot-0.7.1.zip holds JMusicBot-0.7.1.jar (the full build, all platforms' natives; Gitea does not accept .jar uploads), with SHA256SUMS.txt beside it. Run with Java 25 and glibc ≥ 2.38:

    Known: at startup youtube-source logs ANDROID is broken with no known fix. purnell569's 5/5 measurement with this client list dates from 2026-09-11 and YouTube changes often; if YouTube playback fails, that client list (playback.youtube in config.txt) is the first place to look.
