The record mirror appended phase, log, and member lines without a channel, and the model's job_output renders channel-less chunks as stdout, so a job_output before settlement returned observer narration the README promised it would not. The four appends now carry channel: 'log', which the registry keeps out of model reads while observers still stream it; the spec pins the channels and the status-only early read.
