Every Typert Remote stream accepts client-to-Host items on the same
logical stream. A method declares the uplink item type in its return
type, RemoteStream<Out, In>, and reads the items through
this.ctx.invocation.uplink(); the invocation also carries the calling
Peer. Client generated methods return a handle that iterates the
downlink and exposes send/end/dispose for the uplink.
The new no-unknown-casts check rejects two assertions introduced by these projection regressions. Both fixtures intentionally represent unknown content: malformed input sent to the admission checks, and a cached plugin block whose opaque field was already lost.
Declare those inputs as unknown variables instead of asserting their expressions to unknown. Keep the same malformed values, content assertions, checkpoint replay, and production validation. Do not expand the recorded cast allowances or change any runtime behavior.
The cold checkpoint regression calls only the projection registry register and restore methods. Neither needs SessionStore, so mounting and disposing that extra service obscured the fixture dependency. Keep the registry lifecycle and the recovered-content assertion unchanged.
The Team projector declares only a subset of current content validators; the existing file and image validator gaps are not fixed by opaque JSON preservation. Limit the new prose to those local validators instead of promising full ContentBlockMap validation.
Keep cache behavior in the README and invalidation rationale in the existing decision note. Document why unknown JSON objects pass through by reference without changing any parser branch or expanding this repair into unrelated validation policy.
A valid unknown content block can own a __proto__ JSON field. Zod object reconstruction silently drops that key when Team events are projected and when checkpoints are admitted, even though the original Session log still contains it.
Validate the unknown block tag without reconstructing its decoded JSON fields. Keep the current V4 local validators and the rejection of retired tool-result content. Bump only the Team projection cache stateVersion from 3 to 4 so old lossy checkpoints are rebuilt from the unchanged log; this is not a Session format or schema change.
Cover direct and nested opaque JSON fields inside accepted native V4 content, plus public registry restoration from an older lossy checkpoint. Historical tool-result conversion remains owned by the Session migration and is not restored in the Team parser. Update the README and existing Team decision rationale together.

A readable V3 child may have no own descriptor, an unknown descriptor version,
or multiple descriptors. Those states do not provide a unique discovery fact,
but they do not make the parent or the retained child history unreadable.
Rejecting the entire parent prevented otherwise valid V3 Sessions from opening.
Append a missing parent catalog row only for exactly one supported own child
descriptor. Keep existing parent entries and every child record when no fact is
available. Retain rejection of mismatched creation times, unambiguous mode/label
conflicts, malformed known fields, unreadable membership and revision drift.
Cover raw and compressed read/write publication, preserved source bytes, late
descriptor availability, inherited descriptors and Preview packing. Document
that unavailable discovery evidence can leave a child absent from its parent
catalog and does not trigger automatic backfill after the V4 successor exists.
Extracts the child-evidence behavior from 7ba7e174dd1 and the Preview regression
from 9c85eb60bd25, preserving the original migration authors' work while keeping
message representation and extension interpretation outside this commit.

Central V4 event admission already rejects tool-result content in Team
queue records, but projection checkpoints use the Team state schema directly.
After restoring the baseline Team parser during extraction, the production
SessionProjectionRegistry.restore() path accepted a decoded native V4
checkpoint containing the retired wrapper without reading an event.
Remove only that V4-incompatible schema arm. Keep the existing unknown-JSON
parser unchanged; its independent own-key preservation fix remains in the
standalone master PR, where recursive V3 tool results are still valid.
Exercise the real checkpoint restoration recipe with a valid text state and
an invalid retired-result state, plus queued-event projection. The new
checkpoint rejection failed before this change; central event admission and
the complete Team owner suite pass afterward with 100% projection coverage.
No Session schema, format version or projection state version is changed:
the rejected value is already outside the native V4 content vocabulary.
Retaining own keys in the Team projection/checkpoint parser fixes a generic
JSON reconstruction defect. It is independent of V3-to-V4 identifier
conversion and can be reviewed directly against master, where recursive V3
tool-result content is still valid.
Restore the Team implementation, tests and paired README to this layer's
parent after the standalone owner captured the exact delta from 85737364be9.
The standalone port retains V3 validators and applies only the non-cloning
unknown-JSON repair. Migration content handling for team/message/queued and
all approved namespace, delivery and source-admission rules remain intact.
This removes an independent runtime/parser policy from the format stack;
it does not change any Session schema, codec, version or stored source file.
V3 permits external event, source and content identities and additional
request-tool fields. Copying those values into V4 can give an old plugin
named tool a core source identity, turn old tool-addition content into a
registry instruction, or activate formerly ignored deferLoading and delivery
metadata. Rejecting such collisions would instead refuse valid source logs.
Keep historical extensions in the existing extensible JSON representation.
Prefix unknown content and ignorable event tags with plugin:, preserving
all other content fields and opaque event payloads. Prefix external source
identities with plugin:plugin: or plugin:source: so wrapper and direct kinds
cannot collide even when original names already contain a category prefix.
Known first-party mappings remain explicit and unchanged.
Prefix extra request-tool field names and block-start field names with
plugin:, retaining exact values and existing-prefix doubling. Core schema
parameters, arguments, replay state and nested plugin data are not traversed.
Keep future-generation delivery records inactive after header promotion.
Pin the V3 event vocabulary independently of the current writer and provide
an offline verifier against an explicitly selected historical source commit.
Attachment authorization and export inspect declared event content only.
Team checkpoints preserve all own keys of unknown JSON blocks while still
rejecting malformed known content and retired core tool-result blocks.
Exercise physical read/write/reopen, prefix injectivity, own __proto__ keys,
provider opacity and retained source-identity snapshots.
No generic extension block, metadata wrapper or new schema-tooling type is
introduced. V4 type declarations, persistence schema, checkpoint and frozen
V0-V3 codecs remain unchanged. Canonical tool-result lifting and incomplete
child-catalog policy remain separate concerns.

Merge master 0e9385ad8b9e75146f4baec2e731dd961f11c87c, observed when
this final integration step started, into the merged V4 release branch.
Keep the complete upstream history and do not advance to later master
commits during finalization.
Bring the Web trust-domain and relative-route handling, plugin install
cancellation, and npm registry mirror configuration into the common
release baseline. Retain the V4 codecs, producer-source policy,
parent-owned catalogs, and fork/migration behavior from the merged stack.
The merge needs no manual conflict resolution and changes no Session
JSONL inputs, snapshot generations, format packages, or persistence
schema/history files. This checkpoint precedes the separate V4 freeze
and audit fixes so each change keeps its own rationale and validation.
A profile installs @deepseek-ai/dsh-experimental-browser-use-runtime from npm
beside the dsh installation, and that package declared @deepseek-ai/dsh-scope
and @deepseek-ai/dsh-mcp-client as dependencies, so the install carried its own
copy of both.
dsh-scope mints its scope-tag symbol per module instance, so the copy's
createScope tags a context the host's scopeOf cannot read. Every Agent's MCP
tools then registered in the global tool layer: the first Agent succeeded and
each later Agent's tool synchronization hit a name conflict, which
failOnStartupError turned into a failed creation.
Both are now peer dependencies (plus dev), which is how every other consumer of
ctx.tools and dsh-scope declares them and how a profile install reaches the
installation's single instance through the profiles module fallback.
schemastery stays a dependency: it carries no instance-local state.
Fixes#4573
Give durable user context its producer-owned source kind instead of a generic plugin wrapper. The V3-to-V4 conversion preserves the frozen rename and collision rules, all own JSON metadata, event coordinates, and historical request-only kinds. Native catalog and JSONL admission retain source validation so unknown attribution can survive without its producer while malformed owned sources are refused.
Use an explicit user-only RequestUserInput for auxiliary LLM prompts that do not own durable message identity. Auto Review and compaction remove their request-only source registrations while retaining prompt content and freezing; provider serializers and projections keep the same wire data, assistant replay isolation, image ordering, and tool correlation. Session writes, Agent delivery, and recorded title requests continue to require identified durable messages.
Bind the saved compatibility policy only to user sources and qualify tmux location attribution without weakening fixed system, model, or tool semantics. Rebuild the current inventory and unpublished V4 acknowledgement on the actual tool-role parent, preserving its rationale and all accepted historical records. The catalog format version records tooling metadata; Session remains V4. Developer-role policy and activation belong to their own feature.
The latest-master Messages adapter, serialization, request-input typing, EpochHeader reservation, and attribution checks pass 103 tests across five files. The retained V3 Messages input-history snapshot passes through the source profile; Host/Client typechecks and all 41 documentation gates pass. The generated comparison records four changed roots and 447 unchanged type fingerprints. Latest-master ARIA changes are retained, with producer source labels applied independently; new Messages fixtures retain their producer names as declared source kinds and use the fixed system-message helper; recorded Session generations are unchanged by this regrouping.

Represent tool results as tool-role messages and migrate released wrappers
without losing outer own JSON fields, call identity, error state, or writer
field order. Refuse nested or wrapper-only information that has no lossless
current representation before successor publication.
Validate current event relationships directly instead of projecting V4 data
back into V3. Keep lifecycle, PTC, title/command, compaction, system-field and
retired-syntax checks on catalog restoration and ordinary JSONL opens. The
Worker JSON equality helper must inspect own keys so it cannot admit PTC
arguments that Node rejects.
Keep the source role change, required native admission and consumer fixture
updates in one complete review layer. Explain shared-type changes in the
persistence record and the native reader rationale in its existing note.
Use checked branded fixture identities and discriminant narrowing instead
of unknown double casts; fixture values and assertions remain intact.
This recomposes the original tool-role work by _Kerman with the independently
validated migration and admission repairs by Tianyi Cui. Frozen generations
and snapshot input version selection are retained.

Merge a2acc7d3eb620bb52f09f7ea3b5a3a1c23353e18 after preserving the earlier
master checkpoint and its successful CI. Carry current provider input-history
handling, UI controls, agent targeting, and runner-concurrency changes into
the integration base without changing the Session migration feature layers.
Keep durable direct-child catalog semantics alongside the upstream running /
inactive vocabulary. Resolve the snapshot description conflicts by retaining
that upstream status text and the existing descendants-only diagnostic rule;
the source and all 53 JSON tool descriptions agree. Preserve parent-session
availability handling with the upstream stale-blank and batched-history fixes.
The merged application builds, all 41 documentation gates pass, and focused
provider, tool-control, and Session Controller tests pass (98, 29, and 125).
Recorded input changes come from master: one refreshed v3 list-agents sample
and three new v3 scenarios; no migration bumps an existing snapshot generation.
Sync the pinned schedule-catalog tool-schema sidecar with the refreshed
list_agents, send_message, subagent, and subagent_fork descriptions; the
catalog e2e does not compare it, so the refresh missed it. Rewrite the
Agent Teams note's Steer sentence and the ownership-release limitation so
`idle` no longer appears where the roster vocabulary is running/inactive,
and fix the two-clause comma splice and a zh full-width spacing slip.
Merge master 0fdadce5189dcf13a00c2ed8293be95b9bb29c2c into the reviewed
Session V4 integration base. Preserve its V4 persistence and direct-catalog
subagent navigation while carrying forward current UI controls, decorative
icons, Desktop signing/runtime changes, and upstream tests.
Resolve lineage conflicts by retaining interaction-time catalog authority,
known-leaf handling and row order together with the shared status icons.
Keep both Desktop shell-routing regressions and one production route; master
now includes the route repair previously carried by this integration branch.
The full build, 41 documentation gates, two Desktop shell tests and 34 focused
Client lineage tests pass. Further built Web and packaging checks precede
publication. Preserve this pinned merge checkpoint before taking a newer
master tip, and propagate it through the reorganized feature stack.
Merge master 62b700bba7bb71e66d2d5a3b850ba8f4dd0fd6b4 into release/session-log-v4 at 4825bc01a999f564e79172a6af28e34fc757c540. Preserve this pinned integration checkpoint before any later upstream movement so the dependent session-format repairs have an immutable rebase base.
Keep release projection-backed child catalogs, independent Session references, exact fork behavior, V4 writer, and existing migration data. Adapt the incoming subagent sidebar chat to refreshProjections rather than the removed dedicated catalog API, preserve title projections in complete projection fixtures, and retain both sidebar actions and release lineage/status behavior. Remove the duplicate SessionProjectionMap import introduced by automatic merging.
Preserve both disjoint archive seals without changing any existing hash. Regenerate current Cordis and documentation catalogs from the combined source, retaining release session methods plus master slot factories. The frozen V0-V3 runtime paths are unchanged. Initial validation passed the full build, 93 focused Client tests, and all 1905 archived artifact seals; remaining integration and snapshot checks follow on this checkpoint.
@deepseek-ai/dsh-experimental-client-ui-agent-team listed react under
dependencies, which the shipped client packages never do: react reaches the
browser through the web build. Now that the agent team web profile is an
optional bundle of @deepseek-ai/dsh, that dependency pulled react into the
npm install layout, where verify-npm-install-layout rejects it.
