The Plugins page declares three slots as children of its main entry:
`plugins.item` lists an official plugin's page in the Official group,
`plugins.bundle.config` renders a bundle's own form on its page, and
`plugins.row.config` gives a row a configure control opening the row's
page. Every entry renders in the `summary` and `page` views the page
passes as owner props; the page draws the title, icon, and crumb and
projects the ledgers beside its store, naming no configurable plugin.
`ui-settings-plugins` registers its four host-plane pages into
`plugins.item` while the Host serves their namespaces and withdraws them
when it stops; the forms keep edits until a save and drop them on leaving
the page, so the discard control and the unsaved marker are gone. The
Settings section becomes the Built-in plugins shell around the inventory
tab, and `settings.plugin.item` is retired.
The Official group opens with the optional bundles the installation
ships, tagged Beta where the feature is one and without an official tag,
followed by the configuration pages. Auto review leaves the optional
bundles and the CLI's dependencies; the install guide names it as its
example spec. The version tag is a capsule like the other tags.
The `plugin-config` web lane drives the pages through the real wire and
opens a community fixture's row page after switching its bundle on; the
settings lanes re-record the renamed navigation entry.
Master now carries the final #4182 plugin manager and the live client
module graph of #4189, so the web management layer is re-ported onto
them:
- The manager keeps master's `ManagementError` codes, `ChangeResult`
stages, `configure()` under `hmr.runExclusive`, `reload()` warnings
and `writePluginEnabled` name matching, and adds back `inspect`,
request-id installs with `plugin-manager/install-log` and
`plugin-manager/install-state`, `cancelInstall`, `listBundles` titles,
rows and overrides, `packageResult.kind`, `pnpmCommand` and
`inspectTimeoutMs`, and `plugin-manager/changed` after each change and
each `profile/reconciled`. A failed or cancelled installation restores
the snapshotted manifest and lockfile instead of master's one-shot
`pnpm remove` cleanup, so `cleanup` and `remainingDependencies` leave
the result.
- App boot keeps master's reconciliation diagnostics and emits
`profile/reconciled`; `watchUserPatches` goes with the launcher's
watcher now that HMR owns profile reloads.
- The settings Plugin list tab stays read-only with #4189's page-local
sync failures and retry; master's bundle form and row checkboxes are
dropped again. The sidebar page words the Host's codes through its
dictionary, and a client bundle change follows the live module graph
without a page reload.
- The web e2e scaffold no longer chooses a reload policy: the base
bundle's `hmr` row turns on with the profile context and application
readiness, and `profile.hmr: false` disables it through an overlay for
the startup-only scenario.
The sidebar page no longer shows the profile template's own bundles
(dsh-base, dsh-web-app). The Settings Plugins section gets its read-only
Plugin list tab back for them, with both of its groups collapsed by
default. Restores @deepseek-ai/dsh-client-ui-settings-plugin-inventory
with its web bundle row, tsconfig entries, catalogs, and goldens, and
drops the built-in tag, locked switch, and source fact the page no
longer needs.
Master's left sidebar grew global main panels, so the manager leaves the
Settings dialog: `ui-settings-plugin-manager` registers a `sidebar.panellist`
entry and the `main` panel it opens under one id, `plugins`, and the former
tab becomes `PluginManagerPage` with its own heading, intro, refresh, and
Add plugin, scrolling inside the main column. Plugin configuration stays in
the Settings Plugins section, which `ui-settings-plugins` now renders
without a tab strip when it holds one contribution.
Web e2e reaches the manager through the sidebar; the plugin-config,
plugin-manager, settings-chrome, and lifecycle-chrome scenarios and goldens
follow. The decision and why configuration does not move are in the new
Agent Note, cross-linked from the two notes it revises.
The duplication gate flagged three clones the plugin manager and the scoped
settings cards had grown: the bundle enable switch on a package's card and
page, the last-operation notice on the package list and a preset's section,
and the subscribe/bind/publish plumbing of CardForm and ScopedCardForms. Each
now has one owner: EnableSwitch, NoticeLine, and the ObservableForm base.
The Delete on a row the person added to a preset is a red trash icon with
the same accessible name. The plugin card no longer says whether a running
session has the plugin loaded under the preset scope: the Host's registered
flag cannot tell "the preset does not compose it" from "no session runs",
so the line said nothing a person could act on. The unread shell field goes
with it; the README states when saved values apply instead.
Agent presets: every card that composes carries a gear that opens the
preset's detail page (breadcrumb, name, marks, description) and declares a
`settings.agentPreset.detail` slot for the sections other plugins contribute.
Plugin manager: the session-plugins group leaves the tab for the detail
page's Capabilities section, with a red Delete on rows the person added and
an Add menu over the installed modules the preset lacks; the manage tab now
precedes the configuration tab.
Plugin configuration: the scope switch is gone. The tab edits the values
shared by all presets, and the same cards form the detail page's Settings
section, registered under a second keyed slot
(`settings.agentPreset.plugin.item`) and editing the preset's own scope while
the page is open. The roster dependency the switch needed leaves with it.
Web e2e goldens, both READMEs of each package, the Agent Note, the slot
catalog, and the inspect catalog follow.
Client feature plugins never import one another's components, so
ui-primitives is their only channel for sharing one. Nothing told an
author to look there first, and the package offered nothing to look
at: its README named six source files against forty-plus exports.
Add Tag (read-only capsule badge, eight tones) and Switch (36x20
toggle with a required accessible name), extend StateDotState with
idle for a tracked subject with no activity, and move ui-agent-preset,
ui-settings-plugins, and ui-settings-plugin-inventory onto them.
The plugin inventory's conditional tag referenced
--dsw-alias-state-warning-primary, which does not exist, so both
themes had been painting its hardcoded #b45309 fallback.
State the reuse rule as the first step of the new-component checklist,
and give the README a component catalog so the rule has something to
check. The rule is guidance, not a gate: a package may still write its
own control, and the Agent Note records the five that stay local.
The Manage plugins tab now speaks two nouns (plugin pack, plugin) and four
states (running, off, restart needed, problem). Cards carry a display name,
a one-liner, one kind tag, and their uninstall beside the switch; built-in
packs fold behind one line; the selected preset's composition renders as a
grid of cards named through the tab's own dictionary for harness modules
and through the manifest for third-party ones; entry ids, module names,
cordis copies, and probe times leave the page. The install dialog keeps
pnpm's output behind a fold that opens on failure and words each outcome;
confirmations name what still uses the package and no longer require an
acknowledgement. The client passes a preset row's declared id, not the
live tree's prefixed entry id, to the row actions.
The read-only Plugin list tab and its package, ui-settings-plugin-inventory,
are removed; the pluginInventory Remote stays as the manager's source of
preset compositions and host-tree module names.
Add the Manage plugins tab (ui-settings-plugin-manager): package cards
with enable/disable switches, retry and uninstall, an install dialog
streaming pnpm output, and the selected preset's composition with per-row
switches and removal; the read-only list gains provenance facts.
Settings cards edit one scope at a time: ui-settings keeps one describe
mirror per settings scope (SettingsMirrorRegistry) and binds
{ namespace, scope }; ui-settings-plugins stages forms per scope, marks
inherited fields, and adds the skill-filesystem roots card.
Fixes surfaced by driving the browser end to end: the client gateway now
lets a call omit trailing parameters that accept undefined (PR3's
optional scope arguments failed the strict arity check), the plugins
install verb is `add` because the client namespace service reserves
`install`/`remove` (guarded by remote-method-names.host.spec), a plugin
module offers its main export as an addable `.`, and describing a settings
scope no owner registered resolves over the global instance's base and
never throws.
The web e2e scaffold can mount a profile runtime over fixture packages;
plugin-manager.e2e drives the tab and writes one field under a preset
scope; plugin-config and settings-chrome goldens are refreshed.
A settings namespace is now a kind; each registration is an instance
filed under the caller's nearest named scope (dsh-scope gains
createScope(..., { id }) and scopeIdOf). Instances resolve defaults →
composition base → global user section → scopes.<id>.<ns>. Global writes
fan out to every instance gated on its own resolved value; scoped writes
commit one instance. Revisions are per section so a scope nothing has
registered yet can still be written when the kind exists. describe(),
the controller verbs, and both events take an optional trailing scope.
Presets name their standing scopes preset/<id>; skill-filesystem is the
first consumer, resolving customSkillDirs per scope with live updates.
