The branch label left the Session header, and finding which Sessions
work in their own worktrees, or which of their change requests need
attention, meant opening each Session's tab.
- A Session row shows a branch glyph while the Session works in the
worktree the panel created for it, and the state glyph of its most
urgent change request with a dot for its checks. The row's hover card
names the worktree branch and its base, then up to three change
requests with their state and checks.
- The forgeWorktree projection follows the Session's working directory;
its client view is the created worktree while the Session works in
it. The forgeChangeRequests projection gains a client view with the
bindings, so the Session summary carries both without loading a
Session.
- The forgePanel.changeRequestStates stream serves the states of the
change requests every listed Session binds from one Host run. It
polls each until it is merged or closed and stores every change in
the forge_panel_change_requests storage domain, so a restart shows
the last known states before the next poll.
- A new Agent Note records the decision; the READMEs, the forge
subsystem page, and the catalogs follow.
The forge panel opens a changes view in the right sidebar for the
checkout's local changes and for the diff of each change request.
- ForgePanelController reads local diffs in the branch, uncommitted,
unstaged, and staged scopes through Git in the Session's read-only
sandbox, change request diffs through the forge provider, and the text
of a changed file to expand unchanged lines. Change request patches stay
cached by head commit and base branch within maxCachedDiffBytes. A local
diff over maxDiffBytes fails as forgePanel/diff-too-large, and a provider
read over its output limit fails as too-large, which the view explains
with a link to the code host; a gh timeout fails as unavailable.
- forge adds the diff, fileText, and fileUrl provider methods and the
too-large failure code, and forge-github implements them with gh.
- The panel shows a local changes card that opens the view and asks the
Agent for a change request. The view collapses files past a line
budget, draws lines side by side or in one column with optional
wrapping, expands unchanged lines on request, and collapses or expands
every file from its toolbar; file headers use a bare chevron.
- The checkout row copies the worktree or project directory path, the
refresh glyph turns while a refresh runs, change request cards keep
their actions while collapsed, and the header entry uses the shared
compact button.
- client-ui-forge classifies changeRequestKey and FsError as
peer-required Host imports, which keeps forge and dsh-fs as its peers.
verify-package-dependencies now covers experimental Client packages, and the
forge panel's Host face imported four workspace values that no policy entry
classified. appendPluginRecord writes through the Session class's private log,
and readers recognize a deadline's TimeoutReason only by instanceof, so both
need the provider's shared instance. pluginRecordOf and generatedWorktreeName
keep no state; classifying them as peer-required keeps the panel's existing
Session and worktree peer edges.
With the exports classified, the fixer keeps worktree, Session, and timeout as
the panel's only workspace peers, moves its type-only relationships to
devDependencies and dsh-typert-protocol to dependencies, and regenerates the
lockfile and the module graph.
verify-plugin-record-callers counts a string literal that spells
appendPluginRecord as a caller, so it now admits the dependency policy file,
which names the export to classify it and never calls it.
verify-package-dependencies now covers every packages/*/* manifest, experimental included, and reads each package's tsdown build entries so Worker and child-process entries count as Host runtime sources. Experimental Client packages no longer declare browser and type relationships as peers.
The document Code preview and the Host read card each owned an
extension-to-language table that had drifted: the preview table had 13
extensions the read card lacked, and the two returned different language
ids for the same suffix. Both now resolve through the new zero-dependency
@deepseek-ai/dsh-util-code-language, which also adds common Windows,
config, markup, and language extensions. Every added grammar stays in the
lazy set; the boot grammars are unchanged.
Fixes#4822
Tests bring the changed sources to full per-file coverage, the READMEs and
docs describe the uplink, the invocation context, and the Peer registry in
both languages, and the generated catalogs are refreshed.
`session[.vN].jsonl` was assembled independently by the JSONL provider
(twice), the session-log export archive, and the recorded-session fixture
helpers. `dsh-session-format` now owns `sessionFormatLogFilename` and
`parseSessionFormatLogFilename`; the three consumers append only their
compression suffix, and the migration note names the owner.
`snapshotSessionFormatJson` re-implemented the lossless JSON walk that
`dsh-util-values` already publishes as `snapshotJsonValue` + `deepFreeze`,
and the frozen v0 relationship validator carried a third structural JSON
comparison next to `deepEqualJson`. Both now delegate; the format package
reports one `is not lossless JSON` diagnostic per labelled subject instead
of ten member-specific ones, and enumerable accessors whose values survive
a JSON round trip are accepted like `JSON.stringify` accepts them.
`session-log-export` names its archive entry after `SESSION_FORMAT_VERSION`,
a runtime value of the shared `dsh-session` instance, so `dsh-session` becomes
a peer dependency and the export is classified as peer-required in the package
dependency policy. The three Session format packages take the `0.1.2-rc.1`
root version that master now requires.
The persistence seam is now create/open/stat/list returning per-session
SessionHandles (read/append/flush/close); every log read and write flows
through the owning handle. The seam package exports only the service and
handle contracts, consumer-visible errors, and pure durable-data
validation helpers; each backend owns its complete storage runtime, and
the shared contract suites pin equivalent observable behavior. The
backend routes published sessions' live events by id into the active
write handle; agent-loop only acquires, seeds, and closes the handle.
Resume appends interruptedTurnClosers through its write handle;
session-query owns the revision-keyed cold cache. Legacy-only surfaces
are removed in the same swap: locate/readRaw/supportsRawArtifacts, the
legacy event-shape read migration, zstd torn-frame salvage,
DSH_SESSION_JSONL, and hook transcript_path population; a torn final
zstd frame is discarded whole; the session-list cold blank probe returns
on stat metadata (eventCount derived from the last physical row,
sizeBytes). The WebUI ZIP export serializes the logical log from a read
handle, so both backends export identically.
