* feat(bundle): accept an ordered patch file list in dsh.bundle.patch
`dsh.bundle.patch` now accepts `string | string[]`. A list names patch
files applied in order as one bundle layer; each file's relative plugin
paths still resolve beside that file. `bundlePatchPaths` in dsh-app-boot
is the one resolver from a declaration to absolute paths, and every
reader uses it: profile loading, plugin-manager reconcile and bundle
rows, the client-runtime roster, and the workspace, cordis-config, and
product-isolation gates. `ProfileLayer.patchPath` becomes `patchPaths`.
* fix(bundle): keep declared patch files package-relative in the workspace gate
path.join produced backslash entries on Windows, so the expected files
list did not match package.json files. bundlePatchFiles returns the
validated declaration as written; bundlePatchPaths joins it.
Web and Desktop now share one command pair: start:* launches the artifacts
of a prior complete build and dev:* builds first, then launches. start:web
is new and spells out the same source launch vector as `pnpm dsh web`;
dev:web runs `pnpm run build`, the three rebuild watchers, and `dsh web` in
one terminal, with --skip-build and --no-serve for the previous two-terminal
flow. The launcher gate pins both scripts to the dsh CLI, and a root
Makefile names the same commands as make web|dev-web|desktop|dev-desktop|build.
The dev-web stage supervisor waits for stages the terminal already
interrupted, escalates only survivors, forwards SIGTERM once, and reports a
stage that exits on its own. Signal listeners are persistent because the
tsdown watchers bundle signal-exit, which re-raises a signal when it finds
no other listener.
Re-record the session-snapshot README bilingual pairing sidecar, and admit
the source-reference regression fixture with the v4 producer-owned `user`
message source kind.
The attachment-policy fixtures introduced three assertions to unknown and
changed two previously recorded assertions. The new repository gate rejects
those escape hatches even though the earlier branch CI passed.
Give the user, tool-result, and inbox fixtures their required V4 message
metadata and declared identifier types. Declare the fixture's plugin content
tag through ContentBlockMap, and check the flat tool-result fixture directly
as its concrete SessionEvent type. Keep intentional malformed inbox entries
and opaque extension fields in the existing negative cases.
Remove all five unknown bridges without adding allowances. Delete the two
baseline entries retired by the rewritten existing fixtures; the other
three assertions were never part of the accepted baseline. Attachment
runtime code and the tests' access-denial and complete-log assertions remain
unchanged.
Validation: the Host TypeScript aggregate and all 52 archive tests pass.
verify-no-unknown-casts reports no new or stale entries, with 1575 existing
assertions remaining; the baseline adds zero allowances and retires two.
The merged concurrent migration test used an as-unknown widening assertion after JSON.parse. Master now rejects newly introduced unknown casts, so that test blocks the repository gate and unrelated PR validation. Give the map callback an explicit unknown return type instead. Keep the gate baseline unchanged; parsing and assertions have the same runtime behavior.
An unexpected visitor rejection represents a batch-level programming or reporting failure, rather than a normal per-Session refusal. The scheduler already drains its active workers before surfacing it and does not start deferred retries. State that behavior explicitly so callers do not assume the retry pass runs after a fatal batch failure.
The parent-child integration case can succeed without observing a race, while scheduler-only tests do not exercise the actual error classification or CLI output. Inject one genuine source-change error at the persistence open boundary in an isolated child process, then delegate to the real backend. Assert DEFERRED, completion of the other input, one RETRY, preserved source bytes and the resulting parent catalog. This adds no production test hook or timing-based race.
The command promises any positive safe integer, but its additional decimal-spelling regex rejected valid expert overrides such as 1e2 and +1. Let Number parse the supplied value and retain the positive safe-integer check. This preserves the CPU-based default cap while allowing equivalent numeric spellings and larger explicit values.
The source-entry regression creates a Windows junction to the real checkout. Its local unlink normally removes it, but fallback teardown must remain safe if that unlink fails. Use the repository fixture cleanup helper to unlink reparse points before recursive deletion and retain its bounded Windows handle-release retries. This changes only test resource cleanup.
A text error list does not show how failures are distributed across historical source versions or let developers aggregate repeated rejection reasons. Emit and save the same JSON report with per-version outcomes, stable failure groups and per-input diagnostics, plus runtime, checkout and report locations. Keep source versions from physical discovery rather than migrated handle headers.
Classify only known diagnostic fields such as unexpected members, unknown events, child prerequisites and sequence gaps. Preserve original messages and use an explicit fallback for other failures; the report makes no inference about historical producer bugs and cannot influence admission or retry decisions. Regression checks cover printed/file/log equality, private report files, grouped distinct sequence coordinates and source-file preservation.
Sequential corpus migration waits for each Session to finish I/O and publication verification before starting the next. Use a bounded queue with one shared persistence Context, defaulting to available CPU count capped at 16. Expert --jobs overrides accept any positive safe integer. Stable input indices and separate completion counts keep interleaved progress useful for large corpora without opening every log simultaneously.
A concurrently upgraded child can invalidate its parent evidence. Preserve the backend revision checks and defer only the explicit source-change error for one serial retry after initial work drains. Corruption, unsupported formats and writer locks remain failures; historical files and existing V4 data remain unchanged. Deterministic scheduler tests cover 10,000 inputs, bounded overlap and retry ordering, while real raw/zstd corpora verify parent catalogs and serial-equivalent output. Performance timing was stopped at user request because the host has competing workloads.
Give developers one pnpm command to exercise the release migration against their own Session roots. Inventory physical generations so malformed entries remain visible, then reuse JSONL write-open locking, validation, and exclusive successor publication with the full root available for child-catalog evidence. Open existing V4 files read-only and preserve every historical generation.
Report each selected source and outcome, continue after individual failures, repeat all errors at the end, and retain a private temporary report with checkout/runtime details and full causes. A failed run exits nonzero. Explicitly close handles because source-launch await-using lowering inside a loop can retain a previous iteration error. Real-entry regressions cover raw/zstd tool-result conversion, repeated runs, unchanged originals, failure continuation, and unsupported layouts. Document the command in the migration cookbook.
Integrate the master tip observed for the final V4 landing preparation on
top of the already merged migration stack. Preserve the V4 writer, flat
message migration, extension policy, catalog validation and historical
recordings while bringing in upstream profile resolution and desktop/UI
changes.
Resolve four generated translation-pairing records from the combined
English/Chinese text. Keep this master checkpoint separate from any
integration fixes and retain all reviewed parent history. Follow-up
validation covers the affected launch/UI paths and migration replay.
Convert an unknown legacy plugin wrapper such as
{kind: 'plugin', plugin: 'acme'} into {kind: 'plugin:acme'}, retaining the
complete plugin name after one prefix. Keep the existing explicit
first-party producer renames and preserve all non-identity metadata.
A direct source already records its producer in kind. Reclassifying
unknown direct kinds into plugin:source:<name> needlessly changes that
attribution and forces plugin consumers to adopt new identifiers even
though V4 accepts their existing representation. Return every valid
direct source unchanged, including already-prefixed names. Remove the
obsolete direct-kind table and two-category identity helper rather than
adding collision classification or another mapping layer.
Update the source conversion examples, codec/restore regressions, and
native fixture producers together. Refresh only the owning Python
advanced scenario's unshipped V4 outputs; preserve historical V0-V3
recordings and their generation selection. Event names, content tags,
and ToolSchema migration remain separate concerns.

The Consumer-owned strictness bullet names the Loader subtree that agent presets own instead of the runtime resolution; the service field, its file comment, the dispose JSDoc, and the route JSDoc use interception; the native-after-interception route documents both anchors it can carry; stale module-fallback comments name the runtime resolution; importFromResolution matches its parameter.
The new vocabulary fixture helper set cwd to a private repository but still
inherited GIT_DIR, GIT_WORK_TREE and GIT_INDEX_FILE. A negative control with
two disposable repositories demonstrated that git add/commit changed the
foreign repository's HEAD instead of the intended fixture repository.
Remove only those three location variables from the child environment.
Leave the caller's environment untouched and retain the existing identity,
hook and signing overrides. The regression checks the foreign HEAD and work
tree remain unchanged while the intended target commits its private file.
This is confined to the test helper; it adds no production Git abstraction
or Session-format behavior.
V3 permits external event, source and content identities and additional
request-tool fields. Copying those values into V4 can give an old plugin
named tool a core source identity, turn old tool-addition content into a
registry instruction, or activate formerly ignored deferLoading and delivery
metadata. Rejecting such collisions would instead refuse valid source logs.
Keep historical extensions in the existing extensible JSON representation.
Prefix unknown content and ignorable event tags with plugin:, preserving
all other content fields and opaque event payloads. Prefix external source
identities with plugin:plugin: or plugin:source: so wrapper and direct kinds
cannot collide even when original names already contain a category prefix.
Known first-party mappings remain explicit and unchanged.
Prefix extra request-tool field names and block-start field names with
plugin:, retaining exact values and existing-prefix doubling. Core schema
parameters, arguments, replay state and nested plugin data are not traversed.
Keep future-generation delivery records inactive after header promotion.
Pin the V3 event vocabulary independently of the current writer and provide
an offline verifier against an explicitly selected historical source commit.
Attachment authorization and export inspect declared event content only.
Team checkpoints preserve all own keys of unknown JSON blocks while still
rejecting malformed known content and retired core tool-result blocks.
Exercise physical read/write/reopen, prefix injectivity, own __proto__ keys,
provider opacity and retained source-identity snapshots.
No generic extension block, metadata wrapper or new schema-tooling type is
introduced. V4 type declarations, persistence schema, checkpoint and frozen
V0-V3 codecs remain unchanged. Canonical tool-result lifting and incomplete
child-catalog policy remain separate concerns.

c4663e8671e33bc2cfdbc868b0b18d979508d39b. Keep this base integration
separate from the five persistence repair PRs so their review diffs
remain focused and can be rebased without moving their fixes here.
Combine master's pin ordering and archived-session filter with V4's
parent-owned direct child catalog. Both grouped and flat sidebar rows
must pass the Session list to the V4 activity calculation; restoring
master's summary-lineage traversal would reintroduce the removed
subagent ownership and count unrelated descendants.
Keep master's removal of the archived-session settings page. Its only
release-side test change renamed a Session list fixture field, so no
runtime behavior is lost by deleting that obsolete test. Adapt the
release-side direct-child-status regression to the new row/filter
arguments and preserve its assertions.
Retain master's workspace ordering and row-motion documentation while
keeping the V4 child-catalog wording. Reconcile the generated bilingual
records against the merged documents. Frozen V0-V3 codecs, recorded
Session JSONL inputs, and the current V4 persistence schema are unchanged.
